BIM training

Skills by role, on your own projects.

BIM training for contracting-authority staff, project managers (RUP) and their support teams, BIM coordinators and BIM managers, contractors' engineers and designers. Every course starts from the role, uses the documents and models of your own projects and can become the training plan required by Annex I.9 of Italy's Legislative Decree 36/2023.

Certification of UNI 11337-7 roles is voluntary and issued by accredited bodies under UNI/PdR 78:2020. BIMON prepares candidates for the exam; it does not certify.

How the courses work

01

Your cases, not textbook examples

We work on the organisation's own EIRs, models and tenders, or on similar cases when documents are confidential.

02

Trainers who work on projects

Courses are taught by BIMON engineers who do BIM management, coordination and checking on our projects.

03

Training plan for the authority

For contracting authorities we arrange the modules into a plan by role, as Annex I.9 requires, with objectives and attendance records.

Frequently asked questions

Does the training count as the Annex I.9 training plan?+

The plan is adopted by the contracting authority, which sets roles, objectives and timing. We structure it by role, as art. 1(2) of Annex I.9 requires, and deliver the modules in it. The plan must be in place before starting procedures with BIM methods.

Do you prepare for UNI 11337-7 certification?+

Yes, with a dedicated module for BIM coordinators and BIM managers. Certification is voluntary and issued by accredited bodies: BIMON does not certify and does not run the exam.

Do participants need to know a modelling tool?+

Not for the RUP, contracting-authority and BIM manager paths: they work on documents, processes and IFC viewers. The coordination and site modules assume familiarity with at least one modelling or coordination tool.

Where do the courses take place?+

In a classroom at your offices, live online, or as mentoring on a real project. The three formats can be combined in the same path.

Who do we need to train?

Tell us the roles, number of people and projects under way: we will reply within one working day with a programme.
